Tuesday: Pete Wentz returns the shot by telling MTV News: "There is a witch hunt for people to be pregnant whenever they get engaged in Hollywood ... I mean we're engaged, that's true, and happy about it."

Tuesday: Ashlee follows-up on MTV TRL: "I just think that's an inappropriate question to ask a woman...I think that when people deny [reports], it's probably because it's something they want to keep personal."
