We posted A Daughter's Darkest Secret Revealed, sharing the story of a mom who discovered that her daughter was secretly involved in prostitution. We asked what moms thought of the importance of maintaining open communication with your children to prevent these circumstances.

Suzanne G. responded: "I think when we convey a sense of openness and trust, it helps to keep the level of secretiveness between us and our kids down."

Teenie Bop said: "Well, I know that I hide things from my mom because even when she says she won't get mad, she really does and that makes me feel like I can't tell her anything."
