Wearing high heels while pregnant created quite the conversation today in the ML offices.
Minnie Driver sparked conversation with this innocent statement to Usmagazine.com, "I've lost my balance--my boobs and my stomach [are huge], and you can't wear high heels unless you weight your bottom or something." Here's how Mom•Logic's Moms weighed in.

| I'll never forget the lecture I got from Montel Williams when he warned me that wearing wedge platform sandals was dangerous. He gave me an earful about how I could trip and hurt the baby, and added that he'd only allow his pregnant wife to wear flats. (Given her former profession, I'm sure this was quite a challenge!) |
![]() | I didn't wear heels a lot, but I definitely did when going out or sometimes to work. It's hard enough feeling swollen and tired, but don't take away my cute shoes too! |
![]() | When I was nine months pregnant I wore high heels to an outdoor wedding. My weight made me literally sink into the grass- they almost needed a forklift to get me out. |

I could not wear them if I tried, As soon as I found out I was prego my feet were swollen throught out my whole pregnancy. Although, I did wear some wedges to a party once but that was real early in the pregnancy.

I wore heels all throughout my pregnancy. I worked in an office, and was required to wear dress-clothes. And you can’t exactly dress up with flip flops or sneakers! Up until my 8th month, I wore 2-3 inch (thin) heels… and my balance was fine.

My feet blew up to a size 12 (from a 10) at about 12 weeks. The only thing I could find in EXTRA WIDE (I usually wear narrow) were flats. Besides, they hurt so bad anyway, I don’t think I could have handled heels.
