Have a Hot Date at Home

How to make it feel like a special night out when you have to stay in.
Can't get a sitter? No problem. You can still have a date night once you tuck the kids in bed. Here, our top 5 pointers.
1. Get Cookin' (or at least ordering): If it's warm enough outside, dine al fresco. (Can't hear the kids? Time to break out the old baby monitor.)
2. Watch a flick: Renting a movie can be romantic and private. Turn off the phones and computers, dim the lights, pop some popcorn, and you'll feel like you're in a theater. (Sans obnoxious teenagers and sticky, soda-covered floors.)
3. Create your own happy hour: Enjoy a cocktail together and indulge in a little adult conversation after hours. (But don't talk about bills or all the cleaning you need to do--It's called happy hour for a reason.)As long as you set time aside to focus on each other rather than the day-to-day distractions that tend to take up most of your evenings, date night will be a success. And just think of all that cash you're saving on a babysitter!

Great ideas…I think I’ll try #3 & #5! ;)
