Eco-expert and co-author of The Green Book, Elizabeth Rogers, steps in to help the Mom of two teens repent her eco-sins.

Earlier today, we met Lisa, one of the most wasteful moms in America, according to her kids. For the last few hours, green expert Elizabeth Rogers has been performing an eco-intervention at her home. Good news: It doesn't have to be that hard. Check out this video of the eco-makeover we gave this family.

It’s exciting to see saving the planet is catching on…let’s hope we make it part of our life permanently and not keep it as a trend one day out of the year!

She isn’t as wasteful as the two families that were on Oprah last week.

If the wasteful products were done away with, we would have no choice. Essentially, there are those household and business’ out there that insist on convenience and could care less about the destruction left behind. I for one, am trying to change my household for the better so that I can one day see my great great grandkids.
