At Jessica Alba's baby shower guests were given bracelets and told not to take them off until her baby is born.

No "Diaper Bag Memory Game" or "Guess the Baby Food" at Jessica Alba's baby shower last week. Instead, guests were led in a prayer that included thoughts of love, life and health and given leather bracelets they were told not to take them off until her baby is born.
That's a pretty big commitment for the average shower guest. After all, Jessica's due date isn't until June 4th - that's over 50 days of wearing the same bracelet. Jessica, can they at least take it off when they shower?!
What do you think, sweet shower idea or too weird?

Well, yes, it’s a bit different but I think it’s very sweet. I’d rather wear a bracelet for 50 days than play that stupid string around mommy-to-be’s waistline game.

It’s definitely different, but I think it can be neat, so that her friends and family can pray for the baby’s health and hers when they see the bracelet.

What a great idea! I wish I knew about this when I was pregnant. When you’re pregnant and going into labor you can take all of the good wishes, vibes, and prayers that you can get.

No More Jessica Alba news. Enough!
