Search continues at polygamist compound: More than 200 women and children were removed from a polygamist site over the weekend in Texas and police are still searching for the 16-year-old whistleblower whose tip of underage marriage led to the raid. In Texas, it is illegal for anyone to marry under 16 years old, regardless of parental consent.

Shake up at Clinton campaign: Senator Clinton's chief strategist, Mark Penn, stepped down after it was revealed he consulted with Columbian officials to help them push a trade agreement through Congress, a bill that Clinton opposes. Critics say Penn's departure is long overdue and that his strategy has potentially caused irreversible harm to Clinton's campaign.

Angry teen turns in pot-growing mother: A 14-year-old boy who was angry his mother threatened to send him to military school for skipping class called 911 and reported she was growing marijuana. When police arrived, officers found 10 plants growing inside her closet. Maybe they're watching too many episodes of Weeds?

How many of these ?Religious compounds are there in America? Does any one know? What can we do to find out? i worked at a shelter home in the 70’s and early eighties I cannot understand how this can be happening in 2008.
