Moms Are Talking About...

The nanny vs. Rob Lowe: Former nanny Jessica Gibson has counter-sued claiming she was sexually assaulted, battered and harassed. Rob and wife Sheryl filed a lawsuit last week against Gibson, claiming she tried to blackmail them for $1.5 million.

Mom writes president, meets pope: Elaine Hartman from Ohio wrote President Bush asking for tickets for her family to see the pope's White House arrival, and she was shocked when she got three tickets. Only problem, Elaine has a family of five. Her 9-year-old son's watching the pope on TV with his Dad, while Elaine and her two daughters have front row seats. Further proof the president was not a math major.

Teen boys post fight video on MySpace: Six teenagers from Rhode Island are under arrest for beating another boy and posting a video of the fight on Myspace. The victim was not seriously hurt, and the fight was allegedly over a girl.

Wal-Mart cracks down on gun policy: The largest retailer of guns in the United States will now film and log gun purchases and monitor whether any Walmart purchased guns were used in crimes. If the purchaser tries to buy another gun, the sales clerk will be notified to stop the sale. What do you think of this idea?
