OMFG Gossip Girl!?!

Does the show our kids love to watch cross the line with
its new ad?
If any publicity is, in fact, good publicity, then the producers of Gossip Girl should be thrilled. But will their new ad campaign, that's geared to kids yet hints at some very adult language, boost the ratings or backfire?
If you don't know what OMFG means, it's oh my f**king god.
The thing that bugs me the most is that it’s an ad… so you don’t even need to be watching THAT show to see this. So if I keep my kids from watching the show, I can’t necessarily prevent them from seeing the ad.
I have teen daughters, and thankfully, I don’t allow them to watch this show.
But the promo, I can’t protect them from.
Shame on you, Gossip Girls, for perpetuating the oversexualization of young viewers.
As someone who wrote a novel which addresses teen sexuality, I can say that there is a fine line between story telling and exploitation. If there is no values associated with the affections then there is no point to beyond animalistic desires.
This is ridiculous!! What next,
porn in primetime???
Were is this ad placed. IS this in seventeen or People. And who are they trying to reach…If it is in People probably “despreate” housewives Seventeen-well just shame on them. THe thing is the more you object the more the kids want to watch.
I’m not a religous nut but I think the wording is terrible. This pretty well sums it up, the programhas no respect for our creator.
That’s whatis wrong in the world today.
Hate to see the words f***ing and GOD both in the same sentence!!!!!!!!!
An impressive share, I just given this onto a colleague who was doing slightly evaluation on this. And he in reality bought me breakfast as a result of I found it for him.. smile. So let me reword that: Thnx for the treat! However yeah Thnkx for spending the time to debate this, I feel strongly about it and love reading extra on this topic. If potential, as you develop into experience, would you mind updating your weblog with more details? It’s highly useful for me. Big thumb up for this weblog post!

Is it the language or the very sexy embrace that’s over line?
Just wondering…especially since everyone’s in an uproar about teen sex and Gossip Girl’s giving them they’re own personal show.
And we wonder WHY our kids glamorize sex? How can they not when WE shove it in their face all the time?
