Nice website ladies. I stumbled upon it somehow on the internet, and I’m telling everyone about it.
Regarding your advice to moms about spring break… please let me add a few thoughts which may help clarify the present situation. Whenever I see and yet another news story where there is hand wringing over, “Oh my God! Binge drinking on our college campuses!!! WHAT can we do about it???” … pardon me, but it makes me want to barf. Why? Well, because, WHAT would you expect after your kids have completed Drinking 101, 102, and perhaps 103 and 104 depending on how many times they go to spring break??? If you want to see the old style of spring break, rent an Elvis movie. If you want a reality check, consider this…THE CORPORATIONS HAVE TAKEN OVER SPRING BREAK. Hellllloooooooo!!! WHO do you think is teaching the kids the drinking games they are performing in the dorms, frat houses, or your home when you and your husband are away??? Today, the kids can sign up for a package deal to Belize or Cancun or wherever just by plunking down the plastic. All they need is to make their package selection from the internet, charge it to the credit card, pack, and climb into the cab with their friends. All else is taken care of for them. They are on “cruise control” all the way there and back. Their airfare, their hotel room, and whatever else is included in the package, meals etc., have been paid for and are now part of their debt (or yours?) As soon as they arrive in Cancun or wherever and can change and hit the beach, they are met with an onslaught of free drinking games being taught to them as a way of introducing and promoting alcohol products, and educating them in creative ways to consume gallons of booze while they are there. And who is picking up the tab??? Who do you think??? Go to your local liquor store and maybe you will get a clue or two. Do you think when they get back from Cancun or wherever they’ll forget what the corporations taught them on the beach or around the pool??? Hell no! The party is just beginning. The seniors, juniors, and sophomores are educating your freshmen sons and daughters on how to drink to excess ladies on campus before your pride and joy has ever even experienced their first spring break. So it’s a good investment of advertising dollars for the beer, wine, and liquor companies because they get their return on investment when your kids return to the campus and perpetuate what the corporations have taught them at spring break. Do your research. Google spring break. Check out the packages and see what is included. Go there yourselves and do your research. Identify the companies who are promoting excessive drinking and take action!!! Come up with your own spring break locations sponsored by, sanctioned, and approved by momlogic.com where you know your daughters will be safe. I like your video where the woman tells moms they are NOT their kids best friend. That warped logic mythical thinking was promoted for too many decades and anyone who swallowed it doesn’t have a working brain. Ya gotta use common sense in raising your kids in a world where the word EXTREME is the mantra. Fight back. Use EXTREME caution. It is your right. It is your prerogative. It is your RESPONSIBILITY as a parent!!! You DON’T owe anyone an explanation, you are NOT obligated to defend your position, and you don’t NEED TO ask for an “expert’s” opinion when exerting your common sense on behalf of your offspring’s future welfare!!! They are YOUR KIDS! YOU ARE THE PARENTS!!! If your college student wants to go to a spring break location you disagree on, and they threaten to go anyway, CUT OFF THEIR CREDIT CARDS AND THEIR TUITION!!!
HELLLOOOOO!!! IS ANYONE LISTENING?????
Wake up America.
Drinking responsibly is one thing. Making mistakes in life and experimenting along the way, taking a few risks…it’s all a part of growing up. But spring break is out of control and it’s time someone stood up to the corporations that are destroying our youth for profit. You may want to assess your investment portfolios while you’re at it. Stockholders can make a statement ya know?
And while you are researching the booze companies at spring break, research the condom companies as well… the ones passing out the free samples. What a package. FREE BOOZE AND FREE CONDOMS. Forget about Freshman English 101. Hello INEBRIATED SEX 101, erroniously referred to as “Spring Break!!!” You can contact me with any questions at wpbcat@mac.com. Good luck with your kids.

Booze has brought nothing but misery to our land. Illicit sex does not benefit anyone either. Self control, obeying the law, taking advantage of your education, that is what should be broadcast. Instead, girls as young as 12 are expected to be sluts. Please, please, please, act like a parent and say NO to your children.

if you watch oreily, you already have an unfounded poor opinion on teenagers, and have a history of making poor life decisions.

if your child does things like this on spring break you are a poor parent. People dont just do things randomly. If they are older than 21 then nevermind…but if your child is drinking and having sex with random people and doing drugs, you are a poor parent, and your child is not a good kid, no matter how much you think so

Obviously, you ladies were not raised with these type of activities/behaviors being acceptable, otherwise you would NOT be so upset with your kids conduct & this story would not be on the internet. YOU ALL are endorsing this behavior with your kids by the wise statements like ” there will not be any reprecussions or condemation”….This makes me physically ill! These kids know right from wrong & they will/must experience the aftermath if it be “Jail” for your innocent baby or the absolute worst - an STD or worse! You are raising kids that DO NOT have a clue about personal accountability & responsibility. Exactly how do you expect them to function in the working world….handing out sex favors for whatever they may want….maybe then there will be consequences…..which will be a new, scary experience for the tots.
I am sick & tired of this “Parent Pity Party”…only because the PARENT is terrified to tell their kid “NO”….probably hasn’t ever happened since birth. WAKE UP, and save your children!

Always Hope,
Reality
