The Teen Mommy Darci Doll

Do you think this PSA for teen pregnancy prevention hits the mark or crosses the line?
sweet ride. I gotta get me a life like that.
while I applaud the out of the box thinking… I don’t think it’s at all powerful. to make your point about teen pregnancy, you probably might want to avoid content that evokes laughter.
Crosses the line? DEFINITELY!!!!! Would that many more ads such as this crossed the line in such a way, because it GETS PEOPLE THINKING!!!!!! And the more people think, the less they are to make a stupid, regrettable, and, often, tragic choice….
I would think that some straight up wisdom from a teen who has been there would be more effective. I don’t think the doll approach translates into reality. Along with the Hollywood baby craze, there have been movies and high profile teen pregnancies lately. I don’t think teens are getting accurate messages.
It looks like a skit from SNL.
This is kind of insulting and seems to work harder at being funny than at teaching an actual lesson. I agree it does look like an SNL skit more so than a PSA.
Abortions are pretty cheap these days.
for one, no the doll idea is good. reminds some ppl that teens are STILL just kids. also i know someone in the situation ‘marci’ is in. so yes, unfortunately, it is very real and ppl only seem to stop laughing when they come face to face with it and THEN they feel bad.
A formidable share, I simply given this onto a colleague who was doing just a little evaluation on this. And he in fact bought me breakfast as a result of I discovered it for him.. smile. So let me reword that: Thnx for the deal with! But yeah Thnkx for spending the time to discuss this, I feel strongly about it and love studying extra on this topic. If potential, as you turn out to be expertise, would you thoughts updating your weblog with more particulars? It is extremely helpful for me. Large thumb up for this weblog post!

If a teeny tiny trailer doesn’t scare the beejesus out of you what will?
