Recently, one prom dress got a teen arrested...we might've found 27 more.

When we brought you the story of the Texas girl who was arrested because of the dress she wore to her prom, we wondered: What other tasteless attire is being marketed to our teens? Turns out there's a lot. So, in honor of the hit chick flick movie 27 Dresses, we found you 27 dresses that may not be bad enough to land your kid in handcuffs but could ground them for life.

Don’t you know? This is the hooker generation. The guys know what this is all about. Too bad the girls don’t have a clue anymore!

Some of these dresses aren’t that bad really. However, a good portion of them look like they belong on a street walker rather than in a school. I truly feel sorry for those girls who think they have to wear something like this to stand out and be noticed. Yes, girls, it will get you attention, but not ‘good’ attention. Not to mention the fact that no one will take you seriously about anything if you are willing to degrade yourself just for attention.

The majority of these dresses are not prom dresses. They are magazine photos and do not appear to be advertised as prom dresses. There were only 3 photos that may have been actual prom photos. The models wearing the other dresses were mostly well over 16. To assume that the dresses were worn to prom is wrong.

What is Momlogic.com’s angle? Except for photo 1, there is nothing more than swim wear. Number 1 most likely is a model in the skirt + suspenders costume. Momlogic must be building marketing lists for porn vendors. Number 1 surely is 18+ and never saw a prom in her hooker-go-lucky life. Momlogic takes us for fools, as does AOL their fellow traveler…boo to you all, nothing more than cyber pimps

I don’t know why I even looked at this, I think I have seen all of these dresses in strip joints over the last few years …now I am no prude but if one of my daughters even tried to get out of the house to go to prom looking like this (in a hooker suit) she had better remember what the sun looks like because she won’t see it for a very long time to come

So I just had my prom a month ago, no one at my school would DARE dress like this (although some would have loved to). They’re just really ugly. I think some of my peers need to step back and look at what they’re wearing. Because it’s certainly not pretty.

You biddies pretend that you are fit to judge what is tasteful and has style? You have no historical perspective. Ask yourself honestly what your Great-grandmother who was 20 in 1940 would say about what you believe is the classiest dress in your closet. She would be scandalized. Please remember that, at this very moment, Scandinavians think that Americans are prudes. And Middle-Easterners think that Americans are all sluts because they reveal their knees and ankles and faces!!! And all of us are overdressed compared to Adam and Eve.

There is no way that my daughter would EVER walk out of the house wearing any or these dresses. These dresses are tacky, degrading and just awful. Where are these girls getting the money to pay for these dresses? Parents need to check themselves and stop blaming everyone else for their lack of responsibility is their children’s lives. Be a parent and put your foot down. Our children are not our friends/buddies, we NEED to guide them! Values that allow or encourage a young girl (or boy to be attracted to…) to want to look like this, comes from the home. Make our young girls feel worthy of something better than flaunting their bodies. Teach them to love themselves.

although her dress is extremly inapproite, i think she took the risk and punishment of dressing like so. i think she learned her lession with the embaressment. i don’t understand why parents would let their daughter go out like that, but she obviously knows no better. =/

Point first: Someone needs to teach these children the difference between a cocktail dress and a formal evening gown. You can’t blame them for their confusion, I suppose, noting what the notables wear to “formal” occasions these days. Point Second: Ladies, if you’re determined to show that much skin, PLEASE hit the tanning bed first!
