Researchers may have found a link between common household chemicals and autism.
A preliminary study suggests that a type of pesticide found in everything from pet shampoos to household bug killers could cause autism--and it has moms concerned. Momlogic friend and pediatrician Dr. Cara Natterson weighs in:
"Physicians and scientists alike are eager to identify causes or triggers for autism. We know that the disease results from a combination of factors, among them genetics and environmental triggers. The correlation between pyrethrin exposure and autism is extremely interesting and should certainly be followed-up with other studies. This is one example of a potentially huge category of chemical exposures that may be linked to autism."

Speaking of Autism, how many of you parents with children with autism know about the Rally in Wash. DC on June 4th.
Jenny McCarthy is the spokesperson of “TACA”(talk about curing autism) and will speak to congress about cleaning up the vaccines (GREEN UP VACCINES) and also to get them to introduce a new schedule for vaccines. (if you cant find it through that website (I’m terrible remembering details) just ‘google’ ‘jenny mccarthy autism and i’m sure you’ll find something. I know it is late notice, I didn’t hear about it untill last week, but get a carpool or bus together and support this cause on June 4th. There will be a march and from the info I have gathered so far, parents and friends concerned are coming from as far away as Calif, Col. FlA. just to name a few. I’m so excited to talk about this rally. My four daughters are grown adults but my friends’ child has autism that I want to support and also my futurs grandchildren. We need vaccines to be safer for them. Thanks for reading this post! ! !

Using this post to inform those of you that are concerned about autism about the rally in Wash.DC. on June 4th. Spokesperson for “TACA” (talk about curing autism) is Jenny McCarthy and will be in DC to speak to congress about cleaning up the vaccines (GREEN UP VACCINES) and to get the vaccine schedule changed. It is a nationwide rally with folks coming from as far away as CA, CO, FL. I know it is short notice, I only learned about it last week, but get a carpool or bus together and march in this rally.
