Earlier this week, momlogic's Jackie kissed her husband and two young sons goodbye and left for Taiwan to meet Lucy, the baby daughter she's never held.

After eight months of preparation, Jackie never expected to be this emotional OR nervous. Watch as she travels 14 hours for her long-awaited visit.

So, why not adopt one of the millions of children waiting for homes and to be loved here in the United States? I just think of all the dollars you spent to fly to the other side of the world to bring a child back to our country…completely removing her from her own country and/or society. So, what about the children here in the United States that need homes?
