Arrested for Prom Dress

Would you let your teen wear this to prom?

As first reported by khouTV, high-schooler Marche Taylor's unique style not only got her bounced from the formal event, but handcuffed too. A regular teen dating event turned unusual when the high school senior showed up to her Houston prom half naked and she was forbidden to enter for violating the dress code policy. After the high-schooler demanded her money back, an argument ensued and police were called, leading to her arrest.

I don’t understand why these girls cannot see how slutty they look! Ok, the mother gave her money to buy a different dress….where was the mother when the daughter was getting ready for the prom? Aren’t the mothers normally there for pictures and her babies prom? Lack of parent’s guidence, no matter what the reason. I hope this girl looks at this picture and sees a NASTY looking girl. There is not one thing attractive about that dress. She doesn’t even have the figure for it!!! Grow up girl and get some morals!

Who cares where her father is. It makes no difference who or where he is. There are women who raise their kids just fine with no father around. I’m saying that from the outside looking in, b/c I don’t have any kids. Anyway, She’s what almost 18? She’s about to go into the real world here soon. She just picked the wrong dress. Everybody else in the world is running around here half naked anyway. Just be happy that she wasn’t the wrong body type in that dress. I’m a plus sized women and that wouldn’t even cover up my goods, so for mines it would have been worst if she weighed 250. As far as young kids go, they see the same amount of skin in just about everything. Hannahs skirts aren’t the longest. When’s the last time U went to the beach or swimming? Half naked people are everywhere. The people who are saying she looks gross are jealous cause they can’t squeeze into it. U want the kids to cover up? It’s too late, sex sells, and money is the root of all evil. To the “half-naked” young woman, I say Do U, just be careful, you don’t want to be caught out there with one of these perverts around. Good Luck in life.

As a young woman i know the fashon of todays youth. this dress is the fashon. just because its reveiling doesnt mean thats its slutty. i believe that it is a beautiful creation. although not proper for a high school prom i dont think there is anything wrong with this dress. it’s beautiful!

Ugh I wish people would stop saying “She thinks it’s okay because she is influenced by tv.” Oh, that is BS. When I was in high school, I knew better. When i was in middle school, I knew better. This girl knew better, she just wanted to get some attention. I went to school with girls just like these. The rules CLEARLY state the dress code at school. Girls tried to go against it, and they tried to fight back to get in to the prom. It was announced WEEKS before prom that each girl had to follow the school dress code and that there were no refunds. Girls like these don’t even deserve to go to school because they are just too ignorant.
