Although only six members of the squad are shown in the photos, the whole 16-member squad was cut.
When some racy pictures of the Arizona State University cheerleaders turned up on the Internet, the entire squad was canned.
Do you think the school overreacted?

Who doesn’t remember the pajama parties from college? And yeah…COLLEGE. 18 and over. Not the wisest decision, but hey—how else are they gonna learn if they don’t some mistakes now and then, right? It’s not like Mileygate where they’re barely in high school.

Anon - I absolutely love your general description of cheerleaders. Let me guess… either you are a male, who wanted to date a cheerleader in high school and was turned down… or you are a female, who always dreamed of making the squad but was never quite good enough… and now you have a passionate hate of all cheerleaders? LOL. I was a cheerleader in high school, and several girls got kicked off my squad for pictures similar to this one. However, we were in HIGH SCHOOL and UNDER the age of 18. These girls are in college, over 18 (I assume), so I don’t see the problem with it. I mean, sure, it’s not the best image to send out for the school, but it’s not like they’re posing for porn in their uniforms!

Young women have lost their sense of right and wrong(i.e. Girls gone Wild) and the internet is become a place to show off. I suggest all you mothers with daughters take some time to look at teen porn sites. I know…sick right? You will be shocked at the thousands, if not more gals who are your neighbors, friends daughters, and yes…school cheerleaders. This pic is not that surprising….and not that bad. Unfortunate? yes.

Wow, this pic is so mellow. there’s no nips showing, or camel toes..as they say so WTF is wrong. The school prob. got a lot of slack from the up-tight moms that are threatened by young fresh bouncy girls and wanted to shut them down.

every time i read or see something like this, i think what a bunch of up tight old phonies who are so ridgid they cant even reach an orgasim, or a bunch of men who probably go jerk off to the pics when no ones looking, get a life, discuss the situation with the girls tell them to tone it down and move to real issues

I was a cheerleader in high school and I don’t see what is wrong with having fun with the girls. Most of our photos were clean, but there were some documenting a drunken night or two in which I ended up tossin up a mostly chewed up a wine-marinated chicken taco into Becky’s cervix while mid-cunnilingus! LOL, I don’t drink that much Boone’s anymore.
