American Idol's most famous runner-up has impregnated someone. Who's the lucky lady?

TMZ is reporting that the mother is Jaymes Foster, 50, a record producer and best friend of the singer. She is the sister of record mogul David Foster and is due in August. Sources say 29-year-old Aiken artificially inseminated his future baby mama and plans to take an active role in raising the child.

That’s sick!

I don’t know about “sick” but I think family units in which the parents are a couple are easier for children. I know kind do just fine when parents divorce etc, but I don’t think anyone thinks a situation like the one above is ideal? I’m curious to hear some single parent takes on this.

i think its better for a child to live in a home where the parents are a couple and married. i think he should have waited until he met the right person,get married and then start a family.whats the big rush he is still young.

i love clay, i read this story in the paper and (sorry if i sound dumb) i thought that Jaymes was a guy-but i get it now. I think they miss the whole point of planned parenthood- it just sounds kind of selfish to me.
