Friend of momlogic Rene Syler, who co-hosted our town hall meeting in North Carolina Saturday, tells of her whirlwind trip.

Wow, what a whirlwind! Friday afternoon I'm in New York working, 14 hours later, there I was, sitting next to the woman running for the highest office in the land. Truth be told, I have seen her before, because the Clintons actually live in my neighborhood in Westchester County, New York. But never have I had a chance to sit and talk with her about all things under the sun, like the gravity of this election, Chelsea's choice of wardrobe as teen and how they scared the wits out of a deliveryman when they ordered pizza from The White House. Fun, fun, fun!
Backstage she was just as gracious and kind as she was in front of the cameras. After the session, the secret service whisked her away and we all stripped out of our work clothes, scoured our faces clean of make up, caught planes going to various, far flung parts of the country and, at least in my case, had to explain to my son why Guitar Hero was something he would have to work for. Senator Clinton in the morning, a 9-year-old begging for video games in the afternoon. Ah yes, the life of the modern mother.
