Obama wins North Carolina, Clinton wins Indiana: Senator Barack Obama defeated Senator Clinton in North Carolina last night by a 14-point spread after surviving two of the most difficult weeks of his campaign. In Indiana, Senator Clinton narrowly triumphed over Obama, 50% to 49%.
Britney gets sons for Mother's Day: At a custody hearing on Tuesday, a judge ruled that Kevin Federline will maintain full custody of Sean and Jayden, but said Britney has shown progress and can spend more time with her sons. TMZ.com reports that Brit Brit will get three days a week of supervised visitation with her kids and eventually have an overnight visit over the coming weeks.
96 arrested after massive college drug bust: Nearly 100 people, including 75 San Diego State University students, were arrested on a variety of drug charges as a result of Operation Sudden Fall. The undercover drug investigation was sparked after a 19-year-old female college student fatally overdosed on cocaine last year. Fraternity houses were infiltrated with undercover officers during a 6-month investigation and a number of weapons and drugs -- including marijuana, cocaine, methamphetamine and Ecstasy valued at over $100,000 -- were seized.
Uma Thurman's stalker found guilty: Jack Jordan, the ex-mental patient who had been harassing the Oscar nominee for two years, was convicted by a jury in Manhattan Supreme Court and is facing up to a year in prison. Thurman testified she feared for the lives of her two children. Jordan remains in custody and will be sentenced on June 2nd.
