Sex and the City premieres...in London?: Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis flew across the pond for the world premiere screening of the Sex and the City movie last night. Women in New York, the city that made Sex and the City, are feeling snubbed, but are even more concerned about what is on Sarah Jessica's head. The highly anticipated film premieres in New York City on May 27th.
12,000 dead after China earthquake: Chinese officials raised the death toll to 12,000 after a massive earthquake yesterday. Over 1,000 students and teachers are among the dead after a school was reduced to rubble. The number of causalities is expected to rise as the search and recovery effort gets underway.
Teen fails GED exam, dad sent to jail: An Ohio father was sentenced to 6 months jail time after his 18-year-old daughter failed her high school equivalency exam. Britney Gegner's father was ordered to have his daughter get her diploma, but when she failed the math portion of the GED exam, he was sent to jail and charged with "contributing to the delinquency of a minor." Britney says she is having a hard time with the math section and if anyone should be locked up, it should be her, not her dad.
Teens murdered on prom date: A young couple was murdered this weekend on their prom night, allegedly by the girl's jealous ex-boyfriend. Jennifer Carrigan's mother found the bodies of her daughter and prom date Sunday evening. After hearing the news of his sister's murder, Jennifer's brother was involved in a serious car accident while driving home and is currently in critical condition.

I’m not surprised to see a father being locked up because of his daughter’s inability to pass basic math…. even though it’s not in his fault…. when the mother failed this daughter her whole life.
Face it ladies, men are held to MUCH MUCH higher standards than women are, espeically legally. We live in a society where a 40 yr old woman can have the child of a 12 yr old boy, and she only gets probation, if that… but we lock men up for the failures of their ADULT daughters?
Women only serve ONE THRID the sentence a man does for the same crime. In NY state, ore than 1,400 women are in prison for MURDER ONE, yet only 4 have a sentence longer than 10 yrs. A black male charged woth car theft serves a longer sentence than a white wmen does for murder, on average. Only 30% of women ordered to pay child suport, do so… yet only ONE woman in US history has been sent to jail for non payment of child support… ONE!
More than one million men in the US are forced to pay child support to children that DNA test proved AREN’T theirs.
You NEVER hear women, especially feminists talk about this stuff. God forbid they be decent and honest enough to admit there are plenty advantages to being a women in America. It messes with their “I am woman, I am victim” mantras and brianwashig tactics.
Truth be told: When it comes to crime, it pays t be a woman. Women are just not held accountable for anything in American society. I call it the “Oprahfacation” of America… where all that matters, is what women want and how they feel. Men be damned… and pick up the tab while you’re at it guys!
