3-year-old boy sleeps for first time: Rhett Lamb slept for the first time in his life. The 3-year-old suffered from a rare disorder that puts pressure on the brain stem and prevents sleep, known as chiari malformation. After undergoing an experimental surgery--not covered by insurance--Rhett's mother and father report that their son slept through the night. 

Ted Kennedy hospitalized: Sen. Edward Kennedy was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital today after spending less than an hour in the Cape Cod Hospital emergency room. Sources say the 76-year-old senator seemed to have "symptoms of a stroke."

Parents say school bathroom rule stinks: Due to increased graffiti on the bathroom stalls, a North Carolina elementary school will not allow students to go to the bathroom on their own. If the kids break the new rule, they will be forced to eat lunch in silence. Some parents are outraged by the new school policy, which they call "cruel and unusual punishment." What do you think?
