Kristin also told Health magazine that despite playing the cosmo-loving character Charlotte, she's a recovering alcoholic. That means she can't drink all those cosmos her fans send to the table when she's out to dinner.

Obama inches closer to securing nomination: Senator Barack Obama easily won the Oregon primary last night giving him the majority of pledged delegates and putting him within 60 delegates of securing the democratic nomination. After last night's milestone, Obama had only praise for his opponent, saying Clinton broke "barriers and changed the America in which my daughters and yours will come of age." Senator Clinton defeated Obama 2-to-1 in the blue-collar state of Kentucky and vowed to stay in the race until all the votes are counted.

And the Dancing with the Stars winner is...: Former figure skater and mother of two, Kristi Yamaguchi, tangoed to victory last night on Dancing with the Stars. Kristi danced home with the mirror ball trophy and became the first woman to win the contest after five seasons.

Birth defects double in preemie babies: A new study finds that pre-term babies are two times more likely to have a birth defect than those infants born at full-term. Eight percent of babies born before 37 weeks had a birth defect or other health problems, compared to only 3% of babies born after a full 40-week term.
