The latest rockin' kids albums that won't make you lose your marbles.

Kids' music has moved way beyond lackluster renditions of Row, Row, Row Your Boat and Little Bunny Foo Foo, thanks to rock stars who've settled down with children of
their own.

When we heard the Barenaked Ladies was coming out with a kids' album, we were psyched. The recently released Snacktime is a must-have for kids AND their parents. "Our collective kids now outnumber the band more than 2 to 1," explains vocalist/guitarist Ed Robertson. The Barenaked Ladies isn't the only band getting into the kids' space musically. Here are a few more of our favorites, um, we mean our kids'  favorites...

Here Come the ABCs

This album from They Might Be Giants is a great cross-over LP for kids and parents. The lyrics are smart, funny and relatable to both generations. Click here to buy.

For Our Children

A kid's compilation of icons of rock and pop doing kid's standards. You haven't heard Itsy Bitsy Spider until you've heard it wailed by Little Richard. The proceeds for this album go to helping to restore the music education in the U.S. public school system. Click here to buy

Mary Had a Little Amp

Another compilation this one with the likes of Madonna and Jack Johnson. Not too shabby. Our favorite: The rendition of The Rainbow Connection from The Muppet Movie by the Dixie Chicks. Those chicks put that frog to shame. Click here to buy.

Rockabye Baby!

Best baby cover music bar none. A series of albums to put your kids asleep that won't make you nod off too. These cover everyone from Coldplay to AC/DC. Who could've ever guessed "Highway to Hell" could be so darn pretty? Click here to buy.

I love they might be giants…helps me keep my sanity in the car…i’ve been through the Wiggles with my son and Signing Time with my daughter (which is not bad, Rachel is cool I’ve just heard it a zillion times). It’s nice to have some music the whole family can enjoy :)

Snacktime is a great CD. It isn’t typical kid music…it’s fun for everyone. I’m so glad that BNL had their own kids and made this CD!
