Billy Ray Cyrus (in sunglasses, oddly) was on the Today show this morning to talk about Miley's infamous Vanity Fair pics. He even addresses that shot of Miley draped across his lap. Is this fatherly love or awkwardly uncomfortable? Check out the video to see for yourself.

I like Hannah Montana, but I don’t think Billy Ray Cyrus is someone I want parenting advice from. I am leaning towards uncomfortable. I also think he shouldn’t have worn sunglasses, they make him seem insincere.

I don’t think that the picture was so bad. I mean we know how they are related and a picture can be a million things to people looking in versus the people that took it. I’m sorry I think that people should just leave them alone. she is just a girl.
