A waxer to the stars gives momlogic four affordable ways to keep skin irresistible.
Breathe--we're not talking Brazilian waxes here, ladies ... But Nance Mitchell, a waxing expert who has worked on celeb moms Gwyneth Paltrow, Reese Witherspoon and Kate Hudson, has suggestions for getting you smooth and sexy. And who doesn't want that?
- Waxing: "You must pay attention to the direction of the hair," said Nance. "Sometimes it grows one way or grows five different ways; you must apply wax with the hair growth. And remove it opposite the way the hair grows." Nance suggests that people with coarse hair use linen strips if they are attempting to wax at home. Make sure the hair is grown out to about a quarter of an inch.

Parissa Studio Warm Wax: Moms can pop the little container in the microwave (make sure it doesn't get too hot) and have a quality wax in minutes. This kit comes with linen strips and a soothing oil-based hair inhibitor. It can be used for eyebrow shaping, facial, body and bikini hair removal.
Price: $12
Tip: Don't put body lotion on before, as it makes it more difficult for the hair to come off. One ML'er uses baby powder as a base before waxing--it helps protect the skin from coming off with the wax. Ouch!

Nair Body Hair Remover: This moisturizing cream can be used for your bikini and legs.
Price: $6.95
Tip: Test a small amount of the product on your arm or leg to make sure that it won't irritate your skin. If you have coarse hair, you may have to let it sit a little longer. Spread it on right before you get in the shower so that you can easily rinse it off without creating a mess. To remove the hair, one ML'er recommends using a damp washcloth to GENTLY wipe it away (but do not rub)--just rinsing may not cut it if you're coarse.

Alba's Hawaiian Body Polish: This delicious scrub has all-natural ingredients to help moms get rid of dead skin cells.
Price: $10.99
Tip: Rub the area very gently, especially if you have sensitive skin.
In A Time Crunch? Back to the razor. Be sure to use a new one for those coarser areas; a dull razor doesn't pick up the hair and leaves you in danger of ingrowns. Yuck!

Tip: Use the Gillette SatinCare Sensitive Skin Shave Gel for a super smooth shave.
