Supermodel mom Heidi Klum's new line of Jordache jeans has us wondering: If we can't depend on an actual mom to bring us jeans that fit a real body and budget, who CAN we rely on?
Sorry Heidi, but we'd like to say "Auf wiedersehen" to your new line of denim.
We're all for supermodels/supermoms who can juggle a television show, a rockstar husband, a high profile modeling career, three kids, and wear lingerie on national TV--just three months after giving birth (well ... maybe that one's pushing it). But designing a denim line that's meant for the 32-26-34's with a big ol' bank account? We're not so into that.
After being the spokesmodel for Jordache jeans, Heidi took on the role of designer for the brand, creating a line of denim and tops exclusive to Bloomingdales. Heidi claims these "make your behind look great, and are just $160-295." Just???
If they were absolutely fabulous, we MIGHT consider spending a bit more than usual on a great fitting pair of jeans. But these look like exactly like the same Jordache we bought for $30 at least a decade ago. We were expecting a little more from this uber-fashionista. And by the way, the HK on the button? That may be cute on Seal, but it's not so cute for us.
