Maybe she is just like us!

Do you think it's worth going to Disney even if your kids won't remember it?

Well why not stick kids in the corner in a cardboard box for the first five years of their life if they are not going to remember it anyway? I think that’s crap! These early experiences shape who they are going to be.

My twins are 5 and they’ve never been. I have no intention of them going either. I’m 23 and I’ve never been either. There are other things to do besides Disney World/Land.

My husband and I went to DisneyWorld for our honeymoon, and we love it. Despite going three times before we had kids, we opted to wait until our oldest was 4.5. We had a great great time. We took our baby (8 mos) with us, too, and Disney does a great job of making hauling a baby around as easy as possible with very nice facilities and obvious stroller parking. We’ve been back a month and my daughter is still talking about it, showing people our pictures and her autograph book. We’re even doing the Disney cruise in February. I understand people wanting to wait until at least age 4 or 5, because there just isn’t as much for a younger child to get out of the trip. But we didn’t want to make our oldest wait until our baby is 4 - she’d be 8.

I agree. Young kids, heat, long lines….No way. I’ll wait until my youngest is at least 4 and older one is 5. I think they’ll both enjoy it then. I remember going there before having kids and feeling sorry for the parents. I want my kids to be able to ride the rides…and remember being there.

I think we saw her and the twins at Disneyland on 7/1. Can anyone confirm? I was there with my 4 year old grandson. He had fun.

Yes, we saw her too. She got on the train at Toontown and sat right behind us.
