NASCAR Revs up for Autism
A little girl with autism was at the center of the racing world.
Camille Galli, 9, and sister Francesca, 7, were at the center of attention during last week's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Dover International Speedway in Delaware. They gave the command: "Gentlemen, start your engines!" to start off the "Best Buy 400 Benefiting Student Clubs for Autism Speaks."
The entire weekend raised more than $75,000 to support the autism charity, including the almost $16,000 Camille's dad bid during an online auction so that his daughters could have this memorable opportunity.
Momlogic talked to Camille's mom, Shelly, about what the experience means to their family.
