Let me start by saying all these dresses here are really great summer dresses. Black and white is always so crisp and definitely will have people looking your way. Next, let me say that I love this lady…despite all the negative press, she comes across as a very down to earth person. That has always been one of things that endeared Laura Bush to my family. Perhaps the presumptive First Lady can be more open about the fact that women in this country don’t have to buy $400 purses and Jimmy Cho shoes to look and feel good. With the economy being what it is, now is the time for everyone to practice a bit of frugality and save for a rainy day. Because if oil prices and the cost of food keep rising it could very well be pouring before the end of 2008.

I watched The View the day Michelle Obama appeared. This dress kept her poise and prestige look but also gave her a little summer-dress flare. I also think that this is a good dress for women of color. A good investment for this season!
