Momlogic's Father of the Year

In celebration of Dad's big day, we thought long and hard on who should be our very first honoree.

As you can clearly see by the photo, it is none other than David Beckham -- father of Brooklyn, 9, Romeo, 5, and Cruz, 3. Here are four reasons to love David Beckham:

1. He's a good gifter. He recently gave his wife Victoria a whole vineyard (and we love ourselves some wine).
2. He gives back. He's a huge supporter of UNICEF, COMIC RELIEF and even has his own charity, The David and Victoria Beckham Children's Charity.
3. He's got game. Most of us here aren't even sports fanatics, but (for some reason) we all don't mind catching an LA Galaxy game from time to time. (And it's funny when husbands get all jealous and say things like, "soccer's not a real sport.")
4. And lastly...He's gorgeous. (if you're into that muscular, athletic, involved with the kids kind of dad)

I would have picked me. I’m gorgeous. I not a one game act, and I’ve been primary care give for 2.5 of the last 3.5 years while the ‘mom’ took off for Iraq. That’s giving.

I think it’s extremely telling that MomLogic’s criteria for Father of the Year is being rich and good looking, but nothing to do with actually being a father beyond having children.

Lame.
