Grandma run over by grandson: A 68-year-old grandmother was run over by an SUV, driven by her 8-year-old grandson. Sandra Johnson let her grandson back the car out of the garage when he hit the accelerator, knocking her over with the open side door. Granny suffered a broken vertebra, broken ribs and two broken ankles.

Airline loses kid on first solo flight: Robert and Jody Smith paid an extra $100 for their 14-year-old son to fly alone on SkyWest Airlines with the help of a company representative, but Austin got lost in Salt Lake airport when he was trying to make a connection. Sky West said they "put the safety and well-being of our passengers first, especially those of children traveling alone."
