Mom pleads not guilty in MySpace suicide case: Lori Drew appeared in federal court yesterday and pleaded not guilty to charges of conspiracy and using computers to inflict emotional harm against 13-year-old Megan Meier in an online hoax. If convicted, Lori faces up to 20 years in prison.

Funeral services planned for Tim Russert: Family and friends will be able to pay their respects to the late Tim Russert in public and private services today and tomorrow. There will be a public viewing at the St. Albans School this afternoon in Washington, D.C., followed by a private funeral and burial tomorrow. A public memorial service will be held in the Concert Hall of the Kennedy Center and broadcast live on MSNBC starting at 4pm on Wednesday.

Puppy attacks 1-month-old boy: A 1-month-old baby boy was sleeping by his mother's side when the family dog attacked the child's genital area. The infant was rushed to the hospital and had emergency surgery, but doctors do not know how well he will recover. The 6-month-old cairn terrier-poodle mix was euthanized at the family's request.
