ML Prom-troversy Hits TV

Who knew so much buzz would be created by prom fashion?

It all started with our momlogic exclusive with the teen arrested after wearing a risque dress to the prom. Then came 27 slutty prom dresses and the age-appropriate alternatives. Now, ML hits proms nationwide and Fox --revealing what's really being worn to teen formals. You might be surprised at what we found.

Momlogic turned to celebrity fashion designer Pamella Roland--who's dressed Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Garner.  "The biggest trend I noticed when looking for a dress for my daughter's prom was short, flirty cocktail dresses over long, formal gowns. Midriff and stomach revealing styles are out, and girls seem to be going for something more ladylike and pretty." PHEW!

We also did a little research of our own and hit the prom circuit to find out what teens are going for this spring. We're happy--and frankly, a little surprised--to report that MOST of our daughters are ignoring the pressure of the less-is-more marketing and listening to their mothers. See for yourself what we discovered girls around the country are REALLY wearing.

Catch our own Shannon Fox talking about this topic tonight on Bill O'Reilly (8 EST/5 PST).

How can we as a society expects kids to act civilly in public when parents and many adults in general dress and act worse than street walkers.
I recently read where a junior high school principal who was enforcing the school’s dress code and pulled one young girl into her office to phone her mother to bring something more appropriate.
The mother being a typical in your face type of person showed up not with a change of clothes for her daughter but a angry tirade against the principal.
In the long run the principal held her ground and commented later that the daughter may have developed her attitude stemming from the dress of the mother who chest was splayed for all to see.
From a males perspective this in you face femininity takes so much a way from what being a woman is.
