Eat Almonds, Drop Pounds

Staying away from nuts 'cause you think they're fatty? Not true. Eating a handful of almonds each day can actually benefit your health.

Guess what? Almonds can actually help you drop pounds -- in addition to having the most fiber out of the entire nut family. They contain tons of phytochemicals that have the ability to fight off disease, and are also rich in folic acid, which helps in the fetal development process. Eat a handful of almonds every day for maximum benefit -- or throw them in one of your favorite recipes. Yum!

I have been eating almonds for months at the recommendation of my doctor. It has not help me to lose weight but I have been eating healthier overall and I certainly hope I see some results soon. Janine, I hope you are right, my memory is terrible! :-D
