A young child battling cancer was determined to live out his dreams -- including marrying his playground sweetheart.
Here's a tear-jerker for moms: Reece Fleming, who was diagnosed with cancer in 2004, spent the past four years trying live out his wishes, including riding in a Porsche and spending a day at a fire station, according to the Daily Mail. The last item on his list? Marrying his friend.
Eight-year-old Reece proposed to Elleanor Pursglove, also age 8, after he was told he had only weeks to live; the two were "wed" earlier this month in a small ceremony performed by Elleanor's mother in Reece's home. Reece told his mother after the wedding, "'Mum, I can go now.'" Reece passed away just hours after the ceremony.
