Eye jewelry -- the latest trend that's freaking us out.

New ideas must be scarce. Last week, Eric Klarenbeek, an artist from Amsterdam, debuted something he calls "eye jewelry" -- medallions hanging from little chains that affix to the eyeball with tiny suction cups. Klarenbeek says, "Eye jewelry shows our scientific capabilities while showing the beauty of imperfection." Uh, yeah, but it's unlikely anyone would even be able to wear the designs without continually having the sensation of a giant piece of dust on their eyeball. For that matter, who could even be able to look you in the eye without getting creeped the heck out?

WOW…contact lens, string and sequins-jewelry?!? It’s amazing what kind of stupid inventions people come up with! That poor model looks really uncomfortable…and I don’t blame her!

the model looks quite uncomfortable wearing that in her eye.. i dont blame her… ordinary contact lenses are bad enough!
