Theme parks challenge gun law: Several major theme park companies are challenging a new Florida law that allows people to keep guns in their cars. The new law went into effect Tuesday and allows employees to bring their guns to work as long as they have a concealed weapons permit and keep the weapon in their car. Disney World and Universal Studios oppose the law and are arguing they are exempt from allowing guns on the property.

Teen offered vote on eBay: A college student tried to sell his presidential vote for a minimum of $10. He said it was all a joke, but cops aren't laughing. The 19-year-old student was charged with one count of bribery, treating and soliciting under an 1893 state law that makes it a crime to offer to buy or sell a vote.

Research found that one in five dachshunds have bitten or tried to bite strangers, and a similar number have attacked other dogs. Additionally, one in 12 have snapped at their owners. Who knew?
