A-Rod's wife files for divorce: Cynthia Rodriguez has filed for divorce from New York Yankees star player Alex Rodriguez, a.k.a. "A-Rod." She is claiming to have exhausted every effort to save their marriage and says that it has been "irretrievably broken" because of Alex's "extramarital affairs and other marital misconduct." She is seeking primary custody of the couple's two daughters, Ella and Natasha.

Sex ed for preschoolers? Two leading sexual health charities are claiming that teaching sexual education to children as young at 4 will reduce teen STD and abortion rates. Julie Bentley, the chief executive of Brook and Family Planning Association (FPA), says, "Young people will find information and if we don't give it to them in a responsible way, they'll find it from elsewhere. Pornography is a good example... what it does is it distorts their understanding about sex." These statements are being refuted, however, by many parents who think that 4 years old is just too young to learn about the birds and the bees.

70-year-old gives birth to twins: 70-year-old Omkari Panwar gave birth to twins after receiving IVF treatment. She already had two adult daughters and 5 grandchildren, but desperately wanted a son. In fact, she and her husband, a farmer, spent their life savings for the treatment just so that they could have a male heir. "At last we have a son and heir," her 77-year-old husband Charan said. "We prayed to God, went to saints, and visited religious places to pray for an heir."

Mom and four unruly kids kicked off plane: Wendy Slaughter, her sister, and her four children were kicked off their connecting Southwest Airlines flight to Seattle because her children were reportedly too unruly on the first leg of the trip from Detroit to Phoenix. Although Wendy admits that her children--two of whom have special needs--were restless and a little out of control, she doesn't believe that her family deserved to be abandoned at the airport overnight. The children's grandmother said she had to pay $2,000 to book last-minute tickets to Seattle the next day on Alaska Airlines. They want Southwest Airlines to compensate them and give a public apology.

The day they start teaching sex ed to my four year old is the day I will homeschool him for the rest of his life, even if I have to work 2 jobs to hire teachers for advanced high school subjects. Why can’t parents be responsible for teaching their own kids? I am SICK and TIRED of the responsibility of teaching children about sex and religion being pushed off onto the schools. It’s high time parents stood up and took back their rights from the schools. If I want my kid to use condoms, then I’ll teach him to.. not his preschool teacher!

Southwest was right for kicking Wendy and the rest of her ill-behaved family off that plane.

Those people think they are god’s gift to the world when they are actually social parasites.
