made a $3 million agreement with OK! magazine for the release of their baby boy's first exclusive pictures.
Daughter saves dad after crash: Jim Taylor was driving with his daughter, Elizabeth, 5, when he lost control of his car. After the car rolled, Jim fell unconscious while his injured daughter climbed out and found help. They were both airlifted to a hospital. "She's supposed to be dependent on me, and here's a situation where I owe her my life," Jim said.
Wal-Mart takes controversial comics off shelves: Wal-Mart is pulling Memin Pinguin, a popular Mexican comic book, for the exaggerated black features of its main character that customers have complained are racist. Wal-Mart said in a statement, "...Given the sensitivity to the negative image Memin can portray to some, we felt that it was best to no longer carry the item in our stores. We apologize to those customers who may have been offended by the book's images."
Mother offers iced tea, stops thief: A 30-year-old Tokyo mom was accosted outside her apartment by a man with a knife who demanded money. After saying she didn't have cash, he forced her and her baby into the apartment. Enticed by her offer of iced tea, he took it, put away the knife, and shared his gambling problems. The mom gave him $100 and ran outside to get help. The man escaped, but was arrested the next day.
