Good news: Sex gets better with age: Swedish researchers conducted a study on the sexual activity of aging men and women. After interviewing a group of 70-year-olds, they discovered that both sexes were having more sex now then they did 30 years ago. "Attitudes are more open-minded and positive today, at least in the elderly themselves," said Nils Beckman of the University of Gothenburg in Sweden. Additionally, there was a significant increase in the levels of sexual satisfaction among the older women.
Documentary shows 80 American kids in Taliban school: The Karachi Kids is a documentary depicting American-born boys who have been forced into Taliban-backed Jamia Binoria madrassa in Karachi, Pakistan. The film shows how students who reject Taliban teachings are beaten and violated. The headmaster of the madrassa personally recruits in the United States. He says, "We work on altering the mindset of the students we are training, so when they return to their home countries, their mindset is such that they will work on altering the minds of others." Teen pregnancies up for first time in 15 yrs: The National Institute of Health is reporting the first increase in teen pregnancies since 1991. Federal health experts can't explain why why the number of pregnancies went up between 2005 and 2006. Neither do they have enough information yet to determine whether or not this is a trend. "It may be a blip in the data, and it may come down," Edward J. Sondik, Director of the National Center for Health Statistics in the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, said.
