According to the agreement, which still needs to be signed off on by the court, Federline retains sole custody of the couple's two sons, Preston, 2 1/2, and Jayden, 1 1/2. Mother saves daughter from drowning: A mom rescued her 4-year-old daughter from death after the girl's arm got stuck in a pool drain on Wednesday. The little girl Rose was playing in the pool when her arm got stuck in a suction drain. In seconds, she was unconscious. After finally pulling her out of the pool, her mom administered CPR she learned nine years ago, and revived her daughter. Rose is being monitored at Miami Children's Hospital, to make sure her lungs are functioning properly.
Teen at Guantanamo cries for his mother: A ten-minute video released Tuesday shows a 16-year-old boy captured in Afghanistan crying for his mom and asking for medical attention during questioning by Canadian officials at the U.S. military prison in Guantanamo Bay. ''Oh Mommy,'' he cries in despair in Arabic when he is alone in the room, watched only by hidden cameras. ''What you see in the video is a teenager begging for help and what you see is an interrogation that violates U.S. law and any international law concerning the rights of children,'' said Wells Dixon, a lawyer for the New York-based Center for Constitutional Rights. ''If this is the way a teenager in Guantanamo has been treated, you can just imagine how anyone else has been treated.''
Laci Peterson's mom fuming over Scott's blog: Scott Peterson is awaiting the death penalty in San Quentin State Prison for the deaths of his wife Laci and their unborn child but his blog is gaining much attention, upsetting Laci's mom, Sharon Rocca. The Web site shows photos of him and Laci and also musings about his "wrongful conviction." Rocha appeared on CNN's "Larry King Live" Thursday to discuss the blog and what she thinks of her former son-in-law, saying, "It is outrageous for this to even be happening. I just feel that, you know, it just does a great injustice to the victims and their families. They can no longer speak for themselves. And being on death row is supposed to eliminate an inmate's privileges."
