Britney Spears and K-Fed reach settlement: Britney Spears and her ex Kevin Federline have reached a custody settlement. According to the agreement, which still needs to be signed off on by the court, Federline retains sole custody of the couple's two sons, Preston, 2 1/2, and Jayden, 1 1/2. Spears -- who's currently allowed two visits and one overnight per week -- will get more visitation rights. A source close to the singer confirms she'll now pay Federline $20,000 a month in child support, an increase from $15,000.

How fat is your state?: Research by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is showing how your state weighs in on obesity. The South is still tipping the scales as the heaviest region in the U.S., most likely because of the common indulgence of fatty and fried food. Colorado proved to be the leanest state, which is being attributed to the high exercise rates and the higher altitude. The study was based on the phone interviews of telephone survey of 350,000 adults who offered information about their height and weight.

Jack Wagner to marry Heather Locklear?:Jack Wagner reportedly wants to ask Heather Locklear to marry him once she has successfully completed her rehab program, where he has visited her. "Jack wants to marry Heather as soon as her issues are under control. He's already spoken to her therapists," a friend reveals, noting that Heather will surely say yes. "After Jack came to visit, she realized how in love they are." Locklear divorced from rocker Richie Sambora this past April.

Who killed Nancy Cooper?: North Carolina mom of two Nancy Cooper was found dead on the morning of Saturday, July 12. Brad Cooper, who has asked the public to help find her killer, said that his wife had gone jogging and hadn't returned home. She was found after being reported missing by a friend.. Although her husband has not been officially named a suspect, Cooper's parents and sister have been given custody of her two young daughters. Brad Cooper has not been named a suspect in her killing, but the fact that a judge agreed with her family that he "posed a danger" to their two children suggests police may be investigating the spouse.
