Portuguese end Madeline McCann investigation: Portugal's attorney general has announced that they are ceasing the investigation of missing Madeline McCann. This announcement was made after there was no discovery of the child, despite immense media attention. Madeline's parents vow to continue the search for their daughter. Kate McCann, Madeline's mother, said: "We look forward to scrutinizing the police files to see what has been done and what can be done."

Bullied kids at higher risk of suicide?: Researchers at the Yale School of Medicine have discovered a link between bullying, being bullied, and suicide. The study reviewed 13 countries and found a heightened amount of suicidal thoughts in bullied kids and (surprisingly) bullies. Additionally, bullying victims are two to nine times more likely to have suicidal thoughts than kids who aren't bullies. "When we see kids who are targets of bullying, we should ask them if they're thinking about hurting themselves," says Young-Shin Kim, M.D., assistant professor at Yale School of Medicine's Child Study Center. "We should evaluate and prevent these things from happening."

College has no tuition, no frills: Berea College was established 150 years ago for freed black slaves and "poor white mountaineers." Today, it is only available to low-income families and it charges no tuition. "You can literally come to Berea with nothing but what you can carry, and graduate debt free," said Joseph P. Bagnoli Jr., the associate provost for enrollment management. "We call it the best education money can't buy."

Three-year-old drives family SUV: A 3-year-old boy told his mother he was "going bye-bye" before he grabbed the car keys and went outside. She thought he was just going to the backyard to play. Instead, he climbed into the family SUV, put the car in neutral, and rolled across the street. Thankfully, no one was hurt in the incident and the vehicle only sustained a few scratches.
