"Members of the band completely support Steven Page, but we don't want to put Disney in an awkward position before issues involving Steven's arrest are resolved," band manager Terry McBride said. Page, 38, has pleaded not guilty to the charges that were placed against him earlier this month.

Man leaves his son in car while seeing The Dark Knight: A 23-year-old father has been charged with second-degree child abuse after leaving his 2-year-old son in the car while he went to a midnight showing of The Dark Knight. A passerby saw the young child crying and sweating in the car. The father said that he left his windows up so that no one would take the child. Although the temperature in the car reached up to 87 degrees, the boy sustained no permanent injury.

Sect leader Warren Jeffs is charged with child sex assault: Polygamist leader Warren Jeffs was indicted in Texas on a count of child sexual assault, a first-degree felony. Five members of the sect also face charges. Jeffs, who is revered as a prophet, is jailed in Arizona awaiting charges related to the marriages of young girls. He was convicted in Utah of rape as an accomplice for his role in the marriage of a 14-year-old last year.
