Moms Are Talking About...

Madge's brother loves "watching her squirm": Christopher Ciccone, author of the tell-all book Living with My Sister Madonna, admitted to The New York Observer he is enjoying his sister's misery and the family drama he's created. Ciccone says Madonna sent him an e-mail stating, "Call me," when she heard of the unauthorized biography, but he never wrote her back. Saying, "I will admit to a guilty pleasure in watching her squirm," the
little brother also described his reaction to publishing the book, comparing it to "a giant f------ orgasm. Therapy I already had; this was pure sex."

Girl humiliated by name, goes to court: A New Zealand judge allowed a 9-year-old girl to change her name from Talula Does the Hula From Hawaii. Judge Rob Murfitt said he was concerned such odd monikers would create problems for her as she grew up. "It makes a fool of the child and sets her up with a social disability and handicap," he said. Murfitt listed other strange names of children in New Zealand: twins named Benson and Hedges (after a brand of cigarettes) Violence, and Number 16 Bus Shelter. The Registrar General of Births, Deaths and Marriages has rejected names including Fish and Chips, Yeah Detroit, Stallion, and Sex Fruit.

Baby cut from mother's womb leaves hospital: A baby boy who was stolen from his mother's womb was released from a Pittsburgh hospital on Wednesday. Police say Kia Johnson was found dead Friday tied up with her uterus opened in the apartment of Andrea Curry-Demus, 38, of Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania, who was charged with criminal homicide, kidnapping and unlawful restraint in Johnson's death. The infant was released from West Penn Hospital, but it's unclear if he was given to child welfare workers.

Woman kills toddlers with hammer: A love-scorned German woman was charged Wednesday with bludgeoning two toddlers, ages 1 and 3, to death with a hammer and injuring their mother. According to police, the woman entered the family's Sweden home armed with a hammer and struck them with repeated blows to their heads and bodies. The German woman, mad that her ex-boyfriend was involved with the victim, pleaded innocent but if convicted faces between 10 years and life in prison. (This makes us wonder: How well do we know our man's exes?)
