Questionable Actions: Britney Spears let her baby sit in her lap while she was driving a car, shaved her head, and repeatedly stabbed a car with an umbrella. Lil' sis Jamie Lynn later became a teenage mom.

Mom's Reaction: Lynne Spears told Us Weekly, "Britney Jean Spears is the sweetest and the most sensitive and loving of all my children," She added, "She's just figuring things out."

When Jamie Lynn got pregnant, Lynne told OK!, "I didn't believe it because Jamie Lynn's always been so conscientious. She's never late for her curfew. I was in shock. I mean, this is my 16-year-old baby."

Dina Lohan

Questionable Actions: Lindsay Lohan was arrested after a car chase, called out by film producers for her partying interfering with work, was pictured posing with knives, and went to rehab. Aspiring superstar sis Ali "accidentally" auditioned for a porn director.

Mom's reaction: Dina Lohan told Harper's Bazaar, "We're just so misunderstood...my sons are in sports; my daughters want to be actors. I was in the business, and I'm going to help them. You don't like that?" she says. "I'm living the American dream, and you can go ..."

Billy Ray Cyrus

Questionable Actions: Miley Cyrus took "racy" photos for Vanity Fair, posted sexy photos on MySpace, picked on fellow Disney stars on YouTube and then released an insincere apology.

Dad's Reaction: Billy Ray Cyrus told The Today Show about the drama regarding the Vanity Fair pictures, "My dad always told me the more you stomp in poop, the more it stinks," he said, reaching back to his Kentucky childhood for a colorful metaphor. "So I was just, 'OK, this happened. We got to deal with it."

Shayna and Jeffrey Craig LaBeouf

Questionable Actions: Shia LeBeouf was arrested last year for loitering drunk at a Chicago Walgreen's and arrested this week for a DUI in Los Angeles. He said as a teenager he drank and smoked with his father.

Mom's reaction: All Shayna LeBeouf had to say to E! about her son after his most recent arrest was, "I'm at the hospital right now, he's doing fine..."

Questionable Actions: Mischa Barton was arrested for driving without a valid license and for a DUI.
