See how you can make little Max's first birthday special.

Trista and Ryan Sutter's son, Max, is hitting a milestone -- his first birthday -- and momlogic has a front row seat to the event! Last week, you helped her choose the miniature menu -- and sliders with snow cone French fries won!

You previously picked this invitation and these party favors.
The guest list is being finalized, the party favors are being assembled and the menu is being prepped. Now it's time to pick the dessert. Trista decided on a Candyland theme -- so, like the invitations, the favors and the food, the dessert has to match. Each option was designed by Mount Flour Bakery in Vail, Colo. Do you prefer the playful Lollypop Sprinkles option, the sweet Candy Flowers option, or the cute Rainbow Licorice Knots choice? Pick your favorite, then find out next week if your selection wins.

Lollipop Sprinkles Confetti cupcakes made of white cake with rainbow chips, milk chocolate and classic vanilla frosting with candy sprinkles and miniature lollipops dipped in ball sprinkles with a sugar-coated gummi ring.

Candy Flowers Golden yellow cupcakes with classic vanilla and chocolate fudge frosting and candy flowers made of hard candies, gummy rings, and Skittles with green licorice leaves.

Rainbow Licorice Knots Double chocolate cupcakes with dark chocolate fudge and cream cheese frosting with rainbow Twizzlers tied in knots and sugar-coated gummy rings with rainbow Nerds sprinkles.

Next week, find out who wins!

Is there no end to the hoopla about this birthday party!

Momlogic…PLEASE…weren’t you just bragging last week about some news source award you won? With this type of coverage, it must have been EXTRA or E! news that awarded it.

I love it - giving me great ideas for my little guy’s bash. It’s harmless fun.

Who came up with these cupcakes??? You can’t give a 1 year old hard candies!!! Cupcake #2 is a serious choking hazard!

I AGREE!! IS THIS A KIDS PARTY OR WHAT. WHO DESIGNED THESE ANYWAY.. NOT A MOTHER

Hi Everyone -
These cupcake designs were actually for the older kids…so sorry for the confusion! There were also a lot of older kids at the party, and we wanted to really play up the Candyland theme for them and have fun with some designs that incorporated candy, but we had always planned for the very little ones to have special cupcakes that were frosting-only (they had frosting lollipops painted on them) and Max had a frosting-only cake. Again, sincere apologies for not conveying that info earlier!!

trista designed these cupcakes - enough said. she’s a terrible mother. Please momlogic - enough of covering this moocher

trista didn’t design these cupcakes. “Each cupcake was designed by Mount Flour Bakery in Vail Co.”

Hostess with the Mostess had pictures of the party on their website, but took them down and will put them back up later this week. The party looked like a blast, a true candy heaven. Super cute pictures that I’m sure will send a few momlogic poster into complete orbit and start their whining all over again :)

GoAway August 12, 2008, 10:43 PM

Go away and take EMTanner with her expensive crap and all the other people that will steal new parents blind in the name of baby love. You don’t need to spend 25 to 40 dollars on a baby’s tee to show you love them. The baby won’t remember this and it’s not a show of love but just how materialistic our country is. More Consumers being conned out of their hard earned money. Sad for people that feel the need to keep up with the Sutters and Gosselins who get this stuff for free and can use the tees for toilet paper since they don’t have to pay the bills for the junk but mommy who wants to show she loves her baby as much would be better off putting that money into a college fund.
