Going for the GOLD
Didn't get a chance to catch the Olympics over the weekend? We've got the Beijing wrap up--and what you don't want to miss tonight.

So much excitement is happening in Beijing, as the U.S. is right behind China in gold medal winnings (but who is counting, right?). This weekend, swimmer Michael Phelps broke a world record and won gold, then followed it up with a relay team gold. He's hoping to break the all-time Olympic record of eight gold medals. Mom and super-swimmer Dara Torres won silver with her relay team, and the U.S. basketball boys beat China by a whopping 31 points (woohoo!). The U.S. girls gymnastics team limped through the team competition as Nastia Liukin landed on her can when completing her uneven bars routine--but during their final rotation on the beam, the girls quickly redeemed themselves ("the redeem beam" they called it).
Coming up tonight? The men's gymnastics team finals, where the U.S. team goes for the bronze--China and Japan will be competing for gold and silver. Men's and women's swimming, as well as diving, will air at 10 p.m.
Check out our photogallery of all the U.S. winners so far.
