Father in custody after kidnapping daughter: The man claiming to be Clark Rockefeller, who allegedly kidnapped his 7-year-old daughter with the intent to flee the United States on a boat, was arrested in Maryland late Saturday night. A "concerned citizen" notified authorities that Rockefeller was staying at an apartment complex where he was arrested without incident. Seven-year-old Reigh Boss was found unharmed and her mother was en route to Baltimore. Clark Rockefeller will be arraigned on Monday.

Obama predicted to win presidency: According to three separate economic models, Senator Barack Obama will be victorious in the November election against John McCain due to the unstable economy. Economists predict Obama will win 52 to 55 percent of the popular vote and say John McCain will be defeated due to economic uncertainty and rising energy prices. The models have correctly predicted the president 12 out of 14 times.

Boy shoots mom after argument: A 12-year-old boy in Arizona shot and killed his mother after an argument broke out at their home, according to police. 34-year-old Sara Madrid was shot multiple times and rushed to the hospital where she later died. Investigators do not know what the argument that sparked the killing was about. The boy is in police custody and is charged with first-degree murder.
