
Morgan Freeman and Bernie Mac hospitalized: Academy Award winning actor Morgan Freeman, 71, was reportedly in a car accident in Mississippi late last night and was airlifted to a hospital in Memphis. Alcohol is not suspected as a factor in the accident. Bernie Mac has also been hospitalized in Chicago with pneumonia. Luckily, he is apparently responding well to treatments and is expected to be released in a few days.
Kids set bouncy house world record: Mason and Jerry Lakos, both 10, were among four duos trying to break the previously set 19 hours, 24 minutes bouncing record. The boys planned to swap out duos every half hour to keep up their energy and lend moral support. How did they decide to take on such an endeavour? "We were looking at the [Guinness] book, and then [my friend] goes, 'I have an idea. Let's go break a world record,'" said Zachary Darville, 10, who is also part of the record-breaking team.
Convicted husband-killer gains custody to children: Mary Winkler, the woman convicted in the shooting death of her pastor husband in Tennessee, has regained custody of her three daughters. Her late husband's parents previously had custody. Winkler's attorney stated that her children will remain with her permanently. Winkler was convicted of voluntary manslaughter and was sentenced to three years in prison. She is currently out on probation.
